Irrigation Installation · Orlando

Irrigation Installation, planned around the water.

A good system is decided on paper before it goes in the ground. Marcus and the crew walk the property first and work out what each stretch of lawn, bed and shade needs. Then we dig.

We install new systems at homes and commercial properties, and we add zones or extend an older system when the yard has changed. A new patio, new beds or a fresh strip of sod: the water should follow.

What goes into a new system

  1. 01

    Zones by need

Lawn, beds, shade and full sun each get their own zone, so a thirsty bed is never stuck on the lawn’s schedule.

  2. 02

    Rotors for open lawn

Rotors throw water farther and more slowly, which suits wide, open grass.

  3. 03

    Sprays for narrow strips

Spray heads handle side yards, strips beside the drive and patches a rotor would overshoot.

  4. 04

    Drip line for beds

Drip line waters plants at the root, under the mulch, so shrubs drink without wetting the walk.

  5. 05

    Head-to-head coverage

Each head is spaced to reach the next one, leaving no dry gaps and no stripes in the lawn.

  6. 06

    Rain shut-off on the controller

The controller gets a rain shut-off device, so it skips the cycle after a summer storm.

The process

How an install runs

  1. 01

    Walk and plan

We walk the property with you, mark the zones, and agree where each head and valve will go.

  2. 02

    Trench with care

Lines go in with trenching that keeps the lawn intact as much as possible, and the soil goes back where it came from.

  3. 03

    Connect and set

Heads, valves and controller are installed, the rain shut-off is wired in, and every zone is set for what it waters.

  4. 04

    Walk the zones with you

At the end we run each zone with you beside us, point out every head, and show you the controller.

Local know-how

Planning a system for Orlando sand

Central Florida sand drains fast, and summer storms come and go. A system here has to water on demand through dry weeks and step aside when the rain does the work.

Already have a system? We can add a zone or extend it for a new bed or new turf, so the old lines keep working while the yard grows.

“Very professional and showed up in a very quick time! Would definitely use again. Did a great job with him and his team the sprinklers around our house in Delaney Park.”

Questions

Irrigation Installation FAQ

Ask us anything else on the phone: (407) 969-8741.

Why separate zones for lawn and beds?

Grass and shrubs drink differently. Lawn zones usually run a short time at a high rate, while beds on drip line run longer and slower. Sun and shade areas follow the same logic.

What does a rain shut-off device do?

It is a small sensor tied to the controller. After enough rain, it tells the controller to skip the scheduled cycle, so the system does not water a lawn that is already wet.

Can you add a zone to a system another company installed?

Often, yes. We check the controller, valve box and supply to see what the system can handle, then tell you whether a new zone fits or the layout needs more.

Do you charge for the estimate?

Yes, and we say so up front. An estimate means walking the property and planning the layout, which is real work. Ask about it when you call (407) 969-8741.
